Seattle Symphony’s Beethoven & Wine Festival

The Opening Week of Seattle Symphony’s 2010–2011 season, celebrating Music Director Gerard Schwarz’s Farewell Season, commences with the Beethoven & Wine Festival, pairing the finest in Northwest wines with popular Beethoven classics. Each night begins with a Wolfgang Puck Catering wine tasting event in the Samuel & Althea Stroum Grand Lobby, with tastings offered at $5 for three pours. Gerard Schwarz will then lead Seattle Symphony in hour-long performances of Beethoven’s music, presented without intermission. Tickets are available from $9 to $69.
